Betterland
Graphic Design
My dreamland, the perfect city I've imagined, is located where the sea meets the mountains, allowing people to respect and protect nature.

In this utopia, residents breathe the cleanest air and drink the purest water. I envision this ideal land with the best constitution, an advanced transportation system, and superior policies benefiting all citizens and visitors. It would be a haven for both national and international tourism, implementing visa-free and passport-free travel.

Jianggan and Shinjuku
Poster
During the summer of 2017, I spent 25 days residing in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan, observing the differences between this area and my hometown, Jianggan District in Hangzhou, China.

I compared various aspects, including road signs, architectural styles, and street planning. Upon returning to Hangzhou, I simulated an exhibition at home to showcase my observations and comparisons.

Shui Bing Kori
Poster
Both China and Japan use Chinese characters, sharing many similarities in their usage. However, there are also some differences. For instance, there might be slight variations in how certain characters are used and written between the two countries. Additionally, differences in the frequency and meanings of certain characters might exist.

As for the workshop topic, a brief exploration could delve into the contemporary possibilities of Chinese characters. This might include discussions on the impact of digitization on Chinese characters, the evolution of Chinese character art, and the emerging applications of Chinese characters in design and cultural domains. These areas represent potential challenges and expansions for Chinese characters in the 21st century.

Iceland
Poster
I witnessed the arrival of the New Year in Iceland in 2017. During my five-day trip, I was captivated by Iceland’s natural landscapes. Immersed in this environment, I felt a sense of ‘edginess’ and ‘solitude’. To encapsulate this rich journey, I created a series of posters.
